In this campaign, we are tasked to run a communication for a student club in Swinburne Australia to increase awareness of their club and enrolment numbers. We have chosen VISS (Vietnamese International Students at Swinburne). This is the proposal form we submitted onto Canvas.

Club Background
You are a communications consultant employed by a Swinburne Club of your choice. Swinburne University has many clubs, and they need your help. Enrolment numbers for these clubs are low as students haven’t been on campus. There are also new students attending Swinburne for the first time. These clubs are running a communication campaign to increase awareness of their club and enrolment numbers.
Objectives
+ 15% of new students signed up for registration to join the club within a month after the campaign began.
+ 20% of students follow and/or interact with the club’s social media platforms (i.e. liking posts, using the hashtag on Instagram, Facebook) a week after the campaign began.
Target Audience
On-campus Swinburne students
Audience Groups
+ New students in Vietnamese campuses who are interested in Vietnamese culture.
+ International students who are looking for a Vietnamese community regarding transferring to another country (studying abroad)
Messages
1. Convincing students to apply to join the club
Campaign slogan “Miss Vietnam? VISS-it VISS” (#TheVietGang), play on the word “Visit” and appeal to students who are/planning on studying abroad to join VISS to remind them and/or connect to the Vietnamese culture. Campaign hashtag, #TheVietGang, links all tactics and is short and clear.

Spreading information by increasing social media interaction.
